In the first few weeks of May we have been lucky to have lovely weather with days full of sunshine and warm weather.
We have been trying to more activities outside such as gardening and nature walks around the campsite next door.
During this time residents have also been participating in doing some baking. They have baked goods such as cupcakes, scones and brownies that they ate during the afternoon tea and coffee breaks. To encourage more residents to go outside while its sunny we had cupcake decorating stations on the patio for them to participate in.
The residents have really been enjoying the lovely weather and are exited to see how the flowers they planted will bloom. Our activities team have also made a mini competition by labelling all the sunflower pots to see which residents sunflower will be the tallest.
