Committed to Quality & Continuous Improvement

Our Commitment to Quality and Continuous Improvement

At The Woodlarks Centre, the safety, dignity, and well-being of our residents are always our highest priority. We are proud that the recent Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection recognised our home as Good in the areas of Safe, Caring, and Responsive, reflecting the dedication and compassion of our team.

The inspection rated us as Requires Improvement in Effective and Well-Led. While this is disappointing, it does not affect the safety or quality of care provided to residents. Instead, it highlights areas where we can grow stronger—and we have already taken decisive steps to address these.

Our improvement plan includes:

        1. Upgrading our care planning system for greater clarity and accuracy.
        2. Enhancing staff training and supervision to maintain best practice standards.
        3. Strengthening governance and auditing processes for continuous improvement.
        4. Increasing resident and family engagement in decision-making and feedback.

We are committed to achieving the highest standards of care and returning to a Good rating across all areas. We will keep residents, families, and stakeholders updated on our progress.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
