On the 30th of July we took a group of our residents to birdworld for the day.
The day was full of sunshine and the residents got the chance to see and learn about a variety of different species of Birds and some farm animals.
For lunch the residents enjoyed a picnic made by our catering team, while getting some additional snacks while out.
Many of the residents especially liked the penguins with one spending coming back with what she said to be hundreds of photos of them.
We made sure we took our residents that were particularly fond of animals to birdworld as we knew they would get a lot out of it and to make sure our trips are person-centred
The trip was a great success and a wonderful way to finish the many day trips out the activity centre made sure to plan for the residents in July.
