Our need for maintenance of the garden area is continual and we always have “something to do”. We have several projects, some small ones that need to be done as soon as possible others on a longer term basis but our handyman/gardener really will appreciate help at any time. None would involve heavy lifting or specialised knowledge. Equipment and protective clothing will be provided. No matter how much time anyone has to offer it would be very welcome, please call reception on 01252 714041
Could you spare an hour or two during the week to make a difference to someone with a physical and learning disability?
We need volunteer drivers to help ensure our residents remain independent and can enjoy social activities that they otherwise might not be able to experience.
This role provides vital support in helping our residents get from A to B. Whether it’s collecting them from the centre, driving them to appointments, or getting them out for a day trip, classes and trips to the cinema and theatre.
This role is ideal for someone who likes driving and getting out and about, and can make our residents feel at ease along the journey. It’s simple: arrange pick up, let the resident know the journey details, take them to the destination, and help them enter and exit the vehicle. Job done!
This position is subject to a Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. All drivers must hold a valid driving license.
