Summer BBQ

Summer means its time to get the barbecue sizzling with delicious BBQ meat. The residents and staff had no better way to make the most of the good weather on Monday than enjoying good food in the sunshine!

Stonehenge – Stone Circle

The residents enjoyed a walk around the Stone Circle – a centrepiece of any visit to the Stonehenge and Avebury World Heritage Site. With a history spanning 4,500 years Stonehenge has many different meanings to people today. It is a wonder of the world, a spiritual place and a source of inspiration. The Stone Circle

Pamper Day

The staff organised a pamper day experience for the residents. This provided them with an opportunity to create shared experiences and enjoy a day of relaxation and tranquillity.

Weekend activities

At the Woodlarks Centre we enhance the well-being of disabled people through delivering activities that helps develop the skills they need to run their day-to-day lives. Our well-trained staff have extensive experience of working with groups with mixed needs and abilities. Due to the lockdown we have seen the need to open our Activity centre

Fishing

Our residents have been out and about , John, Michael and Jo had a lovely morning  fishing at MBK Leisure Pump Station Fishery in Greatham. John caught a common carp.

Curling

Indoor Curling game at the Woodlarks Centre. It’s an instant Curl-assic! We have bought all the fun of curling into our home.

Pancake Day.

To flip or not to flip? That is always the question come Pancake Day. At The Woodlarks Centre, the residents had a flipping good afternoon!

Woodlarks takes one step closer to freedom!

AFTER much anticipation and preparation, Farnham’s vaccine team – led on the day by retired-GP Dr John Rose and district nurse Debbie Stevens – arrived at The Woodlarks Centre in Lodge Hill Road on Monday to deliver Covid vaccines for all residents and staff. The residents were very excited to be the first in the
